Elk River Brewing Company has brought its Elkton brewed beers to South Main Street in North East with a new TapHouse set in a handsome old house that once held the offices of the First National Bank of North East, original bank vault and all. Warm wood and exposed brick set the tone, and unlike the brewery taproom, this spot welcomes the whole family. Chef Matt Mobus runs a full kitchen and there is a full bar too, while the taps pour Elk River favorites like Elk River IPA, Chucktown Brown and Susky Stout alongside North East themed beers such as the Northeast River Pale Ale.
