Oregon's Alpenfest 2026

Tucked beneath the Wallowa Mountains, Oregon’s Alpenfest has been serving Swiss-Bavarian Gemütlichkeit since 1975—beer, brats, live music, and dancing that feels transported from an alpine village to Joseph and Wallowa Lake country. This volunteer-powered nonprofit fest spreads across Wallowa County with brewery nights, indoor performances, and an outdoor Alpenfair packed with crafts, kids’ games, and free-to-enter festival energy.

Catch alphorns, Enzian Schuhplattler, and the Smilin’ Scandinavians on the community-center stages, then wander the fairgrounds for food, pours, and handmade vendor finds against a backdrop of Oregon’s most spectacular peaks.
