New

October 16, 2026 · Rapid City, SD

South Dakota's largest beer festival is back for year nine. The Mountain West Beer Fest returns Saturday, November 14, 2026, to Rushmore Hall inside The Monument, 444 Mount Rushmore Road North in downtown Rapid City.

80-plus breweries, 200-plus pours

Organizers expect more than 80 breweries pouring over 200 beers, seltzers, and non-alcoholic drinks, with local and regional brewers front and center. Food trucks and bar games round out the afternoon, and the Visit Rapid City listing calls out Human Foosball, cornhole, and beer yoga.

Schedule and ticket levels

VIP doors and sampling open at noon, with one hour of early admission, unlimited sampling, VIP area access, and lunch served from noon to 2 p.m. General admission sampling starts at 1 p.m. A non-sampling ticket is also offered for designated drivers and friends who just want the atmosphere, with entry at 1 p.m. Everything wraps at 5 p.m.

Good to know

The festival is indoors, so the November weather is not a factor. Everyone must be 21 or older to attend. The event is owned and operated by The HomeSlice Group, and tickets are sold through The Monument box office.

Bottom line

If you want a single afternoon that covers the beer of the Black Hills and the wider Mountain West, Rushmore Hall on November 14 is the place to be.
