Las Vegas's dynamic beer scene has seen its share of changes recently, with the closure of a beloved brewery, the relocation of another, and the exciting opening of a new establishment. Here's what's happening:

The Sad Goodbye to Astronomy Aleworks

Last month, the local favorite Astronomy Aleworks announced its permanent closure. Despite their efforts, the post-Covid Las Vegas beer scene proved challenging without additional financial support.

Neon Desert Brewing Finds a New Home in Henderson

In brighter news, Neon Desert Brewing has officially moved into the space formerly occupied by Bad Beat Brewing in Henderson's Booze District. The Beer Team visited Neon Desert several times a few years ago on a trip to Vegas and was impressed by their friendly team and great vibe. We look forward to seeing what they will be doing in their new location.

Bad Beat Brewing's New Chapter in the Arts District

Meanwhile, Bad Beat Brewing is not bowing out but relocating to the Arts District set to open in June. Please follow their social media to stay up to date on their progress, we will also post updates as we see them.

Beer Zombies Brewing Co. Taking Over Tenaya Creek Brewery

Amidst these transitions, Beer Zombies Brewing Co. stands out for its unique blend of craft beer innovation and a deep-rooted love for horror. Established in 2013 and nestled just off Fremont Street, Beer Zombies has become a cult favorite, known for its Hazy IPAs, Decadent stouts, fruited sours, and core clean beers, all adorned with horror-inspired can art. Celebrating a decade of brewing, collaborations, and community engagement, Beer Zombies is taking over the former Tenaya Creek Brewery, promising to continue the legacy of both brands under one roof. With a commitment to quality and creativity, Beer Zombies invites beer lovers to explore its vast offerings, making it a must-visit spot in Las Vegas's thriving brewery scene.

A Glimpse Into the Future: Cin-Cin Brewhouse and Seafood Bar

Lastly, the former Neon Desert space downtown will soon welcome Cin-Cin Brewhouse and Seafood Bar, led by Chef Virakone Vongphachanh ("Chef V"). This new venture promises to be a noteworthy addition to Las Vegas's culinary and brewing landscape.

These developments reflect the ever-evolving nature of the Las Vegas beer scene. Let's continue to support our local breweries!
