October 26, 2026 · Brooklyn, NY Dark beer fans, this one is for you. Other Half Brewing hosts its 5th annual Stout Season on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at its original Centre Street brewery, 195 Centre St. in Brooklyn, where Carroll Gardens, Red Hook and Gowanus meet. Other Half invites its favorite stout-brewing friends to pour their newest stouts, and it expects more than 40 breweries this year. The confirmed list already reads like a wish list: Anchorage Brewing, Side Project, Toppling Goliath, Trillium, Firestone Walker, Goose Island, Perennial, Pipeworks, WeldWerks, Central Waters, Hop Butcher for the World, J. Wakefield, Lawson's Finest Liquids, Phase Three, Mast Landing, Drekker and more, with additions announced as the kegs roll in. Each ticket includes unlimited draft pours from every participating brewery, access to the Snowbird Lounge, and the chance at an occasional surprise magnum pour. This year's Snowbirds releases will be available to buy, and food will be sold on site. Early Admission runs from noon to 1 p.m. for first crack at everything, and general admission runs from 1 to 4 p.m. The event is indoor and outdoor, so dress for December in Brooklyn. Tickets are limited, the event is 21 and over, and pets stay home. The Smith-9th St. subway station is two blocks away and is the easiest way in. For one December afternoon, one Brooklyn brewery is pouring a nationwide lineup of stouts. If imperial stouts are your thing, December 5 is the date to plan around.
