Pelican Brewing's Yachats Neighborhood Pub Is Open on Highway 101

Oregon coast beer travelers have a new Highway 101 stop between the bigger Pelican destinations. Pelican Brewing opened its sixth pub in Yachats on September 25, 2026, in the former LeRoy's Blue Whale / Whale's Tail diner space at 580 Highway 101 N, framed as a smaller neighborhood pub rather than a resort-scale brewpub.

What to expect

Soft open began around September 18; ribbon cutting and grand opening landed September 25. Hours are widely listed 11 a.m.-9 p.m. daily, first-come seating. Expect Pelican staples in a tighter coastal room that keeps a diner landmark footprint alive on 101.
