October 19, 2026 · Portland, OR Downtown Portland is getting a holiday beer festival right under the big tree. Portland Holiday Brew Fest takes over Pioneer Courthouse Square, 701 SW 6th Ave., on Friday, December 11, and Saturday, December 12, 2026, with the Square's 75-foot holiday tree lit up overhead. Organizers are lining up more than 40 winter beers and ciders from around the region, served under heated tents while vinyl DJs spin all weekend. This year the fest is doing away with tokens, so 3-ounce samples from all of the breweries come included with entry. Friday runs from 5:30 to 10 p.m. and Saturday runs from noon to 10 p.m., with taps closing at 9:30 p.m. each night. The festival is 21 and over. To cut down on plastic, the fest is asking guests to bring their own glass. Steins, mason jars, and coffee mugs are all welcome. For a December night in downtown Portland with a winter warmer in hand and the tree glowing over the Square, December 11 and 12 are the dates to circle.
