October 17, 2026 · San Diego, CA

San Diego's first big beer festival of the new year is on the calendar. The 16th annual San Diego Brew Fest returns Saturday, January 9, 2027, to Preble Field at NTC Park in Liberty Station, 2455 Cushing Road.

What's pouring

Organizers promise more than 70 breweries and about 200 beers, with ten of San Diego's food trucks, cover bands, and lawn games filling out the park. Both admission levels include unlimited samples.

Two ways in

General admission runs from 1 to 4 p.m. Early admission opens the gates at noon, adding an extra hour plus specialty beers during that first hour. Designated driver tickets are sold at the door.

Good to know

The festival is 21 and over only, with no infants or toddlers admitted, and pets are not allowed. It happens rain or shine, and street parking is available throughout NTC Park.

Bottom line

For a January Saturday in the sun with a big slice of the San Diego beer scene, Liberty Station on January 9 is the stop.
