<title>Wolf Hollow&#039;s Scotia Brewpub Is Open (West Glenville Stays Too)</title>
           <description>October 3, 2026 · Scotia, NY
Scotia has its first brewery, and Capital Region beer travelers have a new production-scale pour room. Wolf Hollow Brewing&#039;s Scotia brewpub at 154 Sacandaga Road is open after a June soft launch and a late-September grand-opening weekend, with the original West Glenville taproom staying put.

Bigger room, more beer ahead
The Scotia site is roughly 11,500 square feet, with seating for about 100 and about 7,500 square feet of production space. Co-owners Pete Bednarek and Jordan White have said the build lets Wolf Hollow grow beyond its ~1,000-barrel footprint, and the brewery now says every Wolf Hollow beer is brewed right here in Scotia. Expect tanks in view, a stage for live music, cocktails, and pub food from the full on-site kitchen.
Visit notes: wolfhollowbrewing.com. Address listed as 154 Sacandaga Road, Scotia, NY 12302. West Glenville remains open for the original neighborhood room.

Why go
If you already chase Wolf Hollow around Schenectady County retail, Scotia is the new flagship pour. Pair it with a Glenville stop when you want both rooms in one Capital Region loop.

Bottom line
Scotia&#039;s doors are open now. West Glenville stays on the map. That is the Capital Region Wolf Hollow plan.

<title>Outcast Brewing Fills St. Pete&#039;s Former Flying Boat Space With Multi-Room Energy</title>
           <description>October 3, 2026 · St. Petersburg, FL
St. Pete beer travelers who remember the old Flying Boat / Brutalist footprint have a clear answer now: Outcast Brewing Company is pouring at 1776 11th Ave. N, turning the big two-story building into a multi-room hang with beer, cocktails, wine, and a covered backyard stage.

Multi-room in a familiar address
Outcast took over the roughly 10,700-square-foot building once home to Flying Boat Brewery and King State&#039;s The Brutalist. Inside you get a main taproom for craft beer and hard sodas, a specialty craft-cocktail lounge, and a wine-and-bubbles room, so mixed groups do not have to split up. Outside, a large covered pavilion, outdoor stage, walk-up bar, yard games, and food-truck pads (with power so generators stay quiet) round out the &quot;backyard.&quot; Local artist Ashley Brown&#039;s murals of Roscoe the raccoon set the come-as-you-are tone co-owner Richie Hamm has talked about since opening.
Current hours on Outcast&#039;s site: closed Monday; Tuesday-Thursday 2-10 p.m.; Friday 2-11 p.m.; Saturday 11 a.m.-11 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Details: outcastbrewingcompany.com.

How to visit
Head brewer Scott Roche&#039;s resume stretches from Buffalo to New Orleans, and the tap list aims wide. Sabor Mexi-Cali parks its food truck Tuesday through Saturday evenings, and live music on the outdoor stage gives the backyard a reason to linger. Families and pets are welcome. Pair Outcast with a Grand Central or MLK corridor crawl; the brewery sits just off those nightlife belts on purpose.

Bottom line
If you loved that building&#039;s beer history, Outcast is the chapter open today: multi-room drinks, live music, and a proper St. Pete backyard.

<title>Pelican Brewing&#039;s Yachats Neighborhood Pub Is Open on Highway 101</title>
           <description>October 1, 2026 · Yachats, OR
Oregon coast beer travelers have a new Highway 101 stop between the bigger Pelican destinations. Pelican Brewing opened its sixth pub in Yachats on September 25, 2026, in the former LeRoy&#039;s Blue Whale / Whale&#039;s Tail diner space at 580 Highway 101 N, framed as a smaller neighborhood pub rather than a resort-scale brewpub.

What to expect
Soft open began around September 18; ribbon cutting and grand opening landed September 25. Hours are widely listed 11 a.m.-9 p.m. daily, first-come seating. Expect Pelican staples in a tighter coastal room that keeps a diner landmark footprint alive on 101.
Pub page: pelicanbrewing.com/pubs/yachats.

Why go
If your coast loop already includes Pacific City or Tillamook-area Pelican stops, Yachats fills the central-coast gap with a walkable village pour.

Bottom line
Yachats is open now. Add it to the Highway 101 beer map between the bigger Pelican houses.

<title>Urban South Brings Back Unholy Roller Hazy Double IPA for Fall</title>
           <description>September 29, 2026 · New Orleans, LA
Urban South Brewery is rolling Unholy Roller back onto shelves and taps for a limited fall run. The New Orleans hazy Double IPA leans on Citra, Mosaic, and Centennial with blood orange for an extra juicy citrus hit, clocking in around 8% ABV.
What it is
Unholy Roller is one of Urban South&#039;s bolder seasonal returns: hop-forward and hazy, with blood orange riding the citrus character already in the hop bill. Co-founder Jacob Landry said the beer lets the team put an Urban South spin on a style people already know, bold and a little unexpected.
Availability is limited while supplies last in 6-packs and on draft across Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida (Urban South&#039;s beer finder is the practical locator). The brewery&#039;s own beer page also flags seasonal 4-pack cans for the New Orleans home market.
Why go
If you already chase Urban South around the Gulf South, this is the seasonal DIPA to hunt before it disappears. Pair a can run with a stop at the New Orleans taproom when you want the full house pour.
Bottom line
Unholy Roller is back for fall. Grab it while the citrus haze lasts, then point friends to Urban South on Local Brews for the New Orleans listing.

<title>Anomaly Craft Brewing Soft-Opens Newberry Taproom; Grand Opening Oct. 17</title>
           <description>September 28, 2026 · Williamsport, PA
Williamsport&#039;s Newberry neighborhood has a new pour list at a familiar address. Anomaly Craft Brewing soft-opened its second taproom September 2, 2026, at 913 Arch Street (the former Riepstine&#039;s Pub), with Detroit-style pizza from partner Rebz and a grand opening set for Saturday, October 17.
Soft open now, bigger party Oct. 17
Beer still comes from Anomaly&#039;s Berwick production house, known for German-inspired lagers, low-ABV pours, and rotating seasonals more than wild experimental lists. The Williamsport room runs roughly 10 taps with indoor seating, an outdoor patio (firepit and cornhole included), and a full kitchen partnership: Anomaly and Rebz operate as two businesses under one roof. Rebz leans Detroit-style pies (Hawaiian, Pickle Ranch, bruschetta specials) plus cheesesteaks, pretzels, and fries. Owner Nicholas Oliver told northcentralpa.com that Riepstine&#039;s regulars showed up day one, and he hopes live music lands with the October 17 grand opening.
Hours reported after opening: Wednesday-Thursday 4-9 p.m.; Friday-Saturday noon-9 p.m. Note: the taproom planned a Sept. 27-Oct. 3 close for Bloomsburg Fair pouring. Watch Breweries in PA coverage and Anomaly&#039;s socials for updates.
Why go
Berwick&#039;s firetruck taproom already built regional demand; Arch Street gives north-central Pennsylvania a steady place to find those traditional styles without chasing festival weekends. Future plans include Pennsylvania wine and spirits on the menu. For a Williamsport beer day, Anomaly x Rebz is the new Newberry pin between downtown and the West End.
Bottom line
Doors are open now; circle October 17 for the grand opening. Soft open first, celebration second: that is the visit plan.

<title>San Antonio Beer Week (Oct. 10-18) Caps With Beer Festival Oct. 17 at Hemisfair</title>
           <description>September 28, 2026 · San Antonio, TX
San Antonio&#039;s craft calendar peaks Saturday, October 17, 2026, when the San Antonio Beer Festival takes over Civic Park at Hemisfair with hundreds of craft and near beers, music, food, and a Food Bank benefit. Beer Week (October 10-18) is the citywide runway that leads into that fest Saturday.
Beer Week, then festival Saturday
Beer Week is the citywide runway: independent brewers and better-beer bars across San Antonio and the surrounding area stage tastings, pairings, and special pours from October 10 through 18. The festival itself is Saturday only at Civic Park at Hemisfair, 210 S. Alamo St. VIP entry starts at noon; GA Plus at 1 p.m.; general admission at 2 p.m.; last call 6 p.m. and end time 6:30 p.m. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. The fest is 21+ (no kids), dog-friendly this year, and rain-or-shine. A portion of proceeds benefits the San Antonio Food Bank. Texas sampling rules mean pours are carded in limited ounces, with extra sample cards sold on site.
Festival: sanantoniobeerfestival.com. Beer Week hub: sabeerweek.org.
How to build the trip
Use Beer Week nights to hit locals (Alamo, Freetail, Weathered Souls, Blue Star, and friends show up on recent fest lists), then save Saturday for Hemisfair&#039;s big tent map. Rideshare is the smart move around downtown; bring your ID and a light jacket for October shade. If Wild Bunch&#039;s new Luling taproom is already on your radar, it pairs cleanly as a Friday or Sunday barbecue-and-beer day trip outside the city.
Bottom line
Circle October 17 for Hemisfair&#039;s fest Saturday, with Beer Week nights (October 10-18) as the runway. That is the San Antonio fall beer plan.
