October 27, 2026 · Nashville, TN Nashville's TailGate Brewery has a new hazy IPA, and it comes with a backstory. Nectarmancer Hazy IPA landed at TailGate taprooms on Friday, October 23 as part of the brewery's October Release Day, and it is the newest beer in TailGate's LORE Series. Nectarmancer is a 6% ABV hazy IPA sold in 16 oz. four-packs. TailGate says it opens with aromas of mango nectar and fresh orange zest, followed by intense tropical fruit flavors balanced by subtle notes of bread and caramel, a medium body, and just enough bitterness to round it out. The LORE Series is TailGate's ongoing storyline built around its Wizards' Order IPA, with each release adding characters and mysteries to what the brewery calls the Maltiverse. Nectarmancer introduces a new character to that story, and TailGate is keeping the details close. "We're not giving too much away here," the brewery wrote. "But if you've been following the story, you'll probably want to catch up on this one." Nectarmancer arrived alongside five other limited releases: the return of TailGate's Peanut Butter Milk Stout, SHNACK: Strawberry Rice Crispy (made with real crispy rice treats), two gluten-free SHNACK beverages in Blue Coconut Crush and TailGate Blast, and a seasonal Caramel Apple Cider. TailGate notes that these are limited releases and some tend to disappear faster than expected.
