Birdsmouth Beer bills itself as New Jersey's lager brewery, and that focus shows on every tap. The brewery was co-founded by Andrew Gioia, formerly head brewer at Kane Brewing, and it fills the old commissary building on the former Fort Monmouth base in Oceanport. The board sticks to clean, carefully lagered beer, from the flagship Original lager and a crisp helles to Vienna, Mexican style, black and rye lagers. The philosophy is right there in the tagline, it's just beer, so grab a seat in the taproom and settle in for a proper crisp pour. Details at Birdsmouth Beer.
